How do I Make a Deposit?
There are many ways to fund your account. Deposits can be made with:
- Cryptocurrency from an external wallet
- Fiat currency from a debit card
- Fiat currency from a wire transfer or ACH
- Fiat currency with direct deposit
- Fiat currency from Zelle
- Fiat or cryptocurrency from ZoomMe
- Fiat currency from CoinZoom Cash
Deposit Cryptocurrency from an External Wallet
You can use your CoinZoom wallet to receive supported digital currencies by publicly displaying a wallet address or by providing your relevant wallet addresses to someone directly.
Remember that once you click the "Submit" button there is no option to undo or reverse the transaction. Make sure that if you are sending Bitcoin, you use the Bitcoin address!
Finding a Wallet Address
To find a QR code/address the Web/Desktop platform:
- Log into your CoinZoom account.
- Click on "Portfolio"
- Click on the "Receive" button to the right of your desired crypto
- You can either click the clipboard icon and provide it to the person sending crypto OR
- Take a picture of the displayed QR code and provide it to the person sending crypto
To find a QR code/address using the Pro app:
- Log into your CoinZoom account on your mobile device
- Tap on the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner of your app
- Tap on "Portfolio"
- Tap the crypto that you want to receive
- Tap the "Receive" option
- Tap the "Share" button
- Choose how you want to share the address (SMS text, email, etc.)
- You may show the QR code and allow the person sending crypto to take a picture with their mobile device.
Remember that once you click the "Submit" button there is no option to undo or reverse the transaction. Make sure that if you are sending Bitcoin that you use the Bitcoin address!
Deposit Fiat Currency Via Debit Card
Note: You can only associate 2 different debit cards with your CoinZoom Account.
Note: Once a card has been associated with an account it can NOT be associated with any other CoinZoom Account, even if the same person owns both accounts.
IMPORTANT: Any funds deposited from your card will be locked in your account for up to 90 days, depending on your financial institution's policies. You can use these funds to purchase crypto currencies. You will not be able to transfer the USD amount OR any cryptos purchased with those funds for up to 90 days.
Most Visa and MasterCard debit cards are accepted.
There is a maximum of $500 deposit per 24 hours when depositing by debit card
To fund from your debit card in the web app
Click on "Portfolio"
- Click "Trading Wallet"
- Click "Deposit" on the USD/United States Dollar line.
- Enter the Amount to deposit from your debit card
- Choose Visa or MasterCard
- Carefully enter your Card Number, Security Code and Expiration Date
- Double check that everything is correct and click the "Submit Button".

Deposit Fiat Currency via Wire Transfer

CoinZoom does not charge a fee to deposit funds via bank wire transfer, but your bank may charge fees for wire transfer.
To set up a wire transfer:
- Login to your account on the CoinZoom Exchange.
- Click on Portfolio on the Navigation bar.
- Click on the USD Deposit tab, then select Wire Deposit.
- Send wire to the bank indicated on your account Wire Deposit page and be sure to include the Reference number, which is your unique account identifier.
Note: Funds from a wire are available within 2-3 business days.
US customers use a routing number; customers outside the US or those sending funds from a bank outside of the US use a SWIFT code.

Funding Your Account Using Zelle
If your bank offers Zelle you may be able send funds from that bank account to your CoinZoom Account. Zelle is accessed through your on-line banking portal. Please consult your bank or on-line help for your bank for further direction, if needed.
If your bank's version of Zelle only allows you to choose recipients from the contacts on your phone and doesn't allow you to add the target account number and routing number, you won't be able to use this option to deposit funds to your CoinZoom Account.
When setting up your transfer you may be asked what kind of account this is. This is a checking account.
When configuring Zelle, make sure to put the target name as your name as it appears on your CoinZoom Account Profile.
You will need to provide your CoinZoom Account number and routing number.
You can find your unique, personal CoinZoom Bank Account info in the CoinZoom mobile App on the Wallet Tab | On the CoinZoom Pro App you can see your unique, personal CoinZoom Bank Account info by going to Portfolio, USD, Deposit, Direct Deposit |
On the Web App, https://trade.coinzoom.com, you can see your Bank Account and Routing Number by going to Portfolio, USD, Deposit, Direct Deposit.
Zelle deposits take 4-5 business days to post to your account and are available on the day it posts for trading and withdrawal. Maximum transaction amount is $500 - $10,000/day depending on your CoinZoom Visa debit card VIP level.
Funding Your Account by ACH
Please note that when you add your bank, make sure to use the "Instant Verification" option. If you add it using "Manual Verification" it will not work for ACH deposits.
- Go to Settings, Bank Details
- Click “Add Bank”
- Click “Instant Verification”
- You will see the following popup informing you that CoinZoom uses Plaid to verify your account.
- Click the “Continue” Button
- Another information screen appears with more information about Plaid. Plaid is our third-party partner that facilitates ACH deposits from your financial institution.
- You can click and review the “Plaid End User Privacy Policy.”
- When you’re ready, click the “Continue” button.
- You can type the name of your bank or scroll through the icons until you find it.
- Enter your on-0line banking login credentials to link your bank account to your CoinZoom Account.
- Once you finish verifying your account you can use the ACH option to deposit or withdraw funds from you CoinZoom Account.
- Click the “Portfolio” tab and then click the “Deposit” button on the same row as your USD.
- Click “ACH Bank Deposit” from the next screen.
- Choose your bank from the Drop down under “Bank Account”.
- Enter the US Dollar amount you wish to deposit in the “Amount" field.
- Enter any reference notes in the “Reference Text” field.
- After double-checking the accuracy of the amount and the bank account click the “Submit” button.
Deposit limits are based on VIP status. Select level: $500 per day, Preferred level: $1,000 per day, Gold level $2,500 per day, Platinum level $5,000 per day, Black level $10,000 per day.
ACH deposits take 3-4 business days to post to your account and are available on the day it posts for trading but can't be withdrawn for 7-21 days. Maximum transaction amount is $500 - $10,000/day depending on your CoinZoom Visa debit card VIP level. ACH Reversal Fee is $100.
Can't Make Deposit From Mobile App
If you're unable to make a deposit from a mobile app, it may be necessary to log in from a computer going directly to https://trade.coinzoom.com.
Why is my account blocked from transferring out funds?
Please note that your account will be locked for up to 90 days for transfers after you make a deposit from a debit card, depending upon the policies of your financial institution.

If you see a message similar to the following, you will need to submit a support ticket to get help to resolve this. Log into support.coinzoom.com to create the ticket. Unless you are logged in to your account, we will not be able to discuss any account details with you.
Are Zelle transfers or debit card deposits subjected to the holding period?
Zelle transfers to your CoinZoom fiat wallet are not subject to a holding period. Debit card deposits are subject to a holding period of up to 90 days, depending upon the policies of the financial institution.

The available balance is the amount you are able to withdraw. CoinZoom generally makes your funds available in your account as soon as payments clear. Since CoinZoom partners with various payment service providers in different geographic regions, the timing will vary according to your location and payment method used.
