Making a Deposit

One can deposit 1) cryptocurrency from an external wallet 2) fiat currency from a debit card 3) fiat currency from a wire transfer:




Deposit Cryptocurrency from an External Wallet:

  1. You can use your CoinZoom wallet to receive supported digital currencies by publicly displaying a wallet address or by providing  your relevant wallet addresses to someone directly.


    Remember that once you click the "Submit" button there is no option to undue or reverse the transaction.  Make sure that if you are sending Bitcoin, that you use the Bitcoin address!!!

    To find a QR code / address using the Web/Desktop platform:


    1. Log into your CoinZoom account.
    2. Click on "Portfolio"
    3. Click on the "Receive" button to the right of your desired crypto
    4. You can either click the clipboard icon and supply to person sending crypto OR
    5. Take a picture of the displayed QR code and provide to person sending crypto

    To find a QR code / address using the mobile app:

     

    1. Log into your CoinZoom account on your mobile device
    2. Click on the menu icon in the upper left hand corner of your app
    3. Click on "Account"
    4. Click the crypto that you want to receive
    5. Click the "Receive" option
    6. Click the "Share" button
    7. Choose how you want to share the address 
    8. You may show the QR code and allow the person sending crypto to take a picture with their mobile device.

    Remember that once you click the "Submit" button there is no option to undue or reverse the transaction.  Make sure that if you are sending Bitcoin that you use the Bitcoin address!!!


Deposit Fiat Currency via Debit Card:



NOTE: Any funds deposited from your debit card will be locked in your account for 168 hours. You can use these funds to purchase crypto currencies. You will not be able to transfer the USD amount OR any cryptos purchased with those funds for 168 hours.


Most Visa and MasterCard Debit Cards are accepted 


There is a maximum of $500 deposit per 24 hours when depositing by Debit Card


  1. To fund from your debit card.
  2. Click on "Portfolio".
  3. Click "Trading Wallet".
  4. click "Deposit" on the USD/United States Dollar line.
  5. Enter the Amount to deposit form your debit card
  6. Choose Visa or MasterCard.
  7. Carefully enter your Card Number, Security Code and Expiration Date.
  8. Double-check that everything is correct and click the "Submit Button".


NOTE: Any funds deposited from your debit card will be locked in your account for 168 hours. You can use these funds to purchase crypto currencies. You will not be able to transfer the USD amount OR any cryptos purchased with those funds for 168 hours.

Deposit Fiat Currency via Wire Transfer:


It is essential to note the Deposit Reference Number on customer wire form. This is linked to customer CoinZoom account. (many customers do not list the reference number on wire, which requires us to look up the number and occasionally reach out to customer to verify deposit is really belongs to them).

Please ensure the wire sender’s name matches exactly with the CoinZoom account name. If customer is sending from a joint bank account, customer will need to provide a screenshot or pdf of bank statement where we can see customer name, name (s) of other account holder, the account number and bank name, only if CoinZoom account name is not sent to us correctly by your bank with your wire transfer.  

If customer wishes to make a wire transfer on behalf of company, customer should set up a corporate account. Individuals with 20 percent or more ownership will need to get approved for a personal account. If an individual sends a bank wire transfer from a business bank account to an individual CoinZoom account, the individual customer will need to provide documentation that shows the individual is sole or majority owner of company or a corporate resolution that individual is authorized to wire money from the company.     

CoinZoom does not charge a fee to deposit funds via bank wire transfer, but customer’s bank may charge fees for wire transfer.

Step 1

Click on the USD Deposit tab, then select Wire Deposit



 

Step 4

Send wire to EvBank and be sure to include the Reference number, which is your unique account identifier.



Your funds will appear in your account as soon as they arrive. 


Funds from a wire USUALLY are available within 5 business days.

Can't make deposit from mobile app

If you're unable to make a deposit from a mobile app, it may be necessary to log in from a computer via trade.coinzoom.com



Why is my account blocked from transferring out funds?

Please note that your account will be locked for 168 hours (7 days) for transfers after you make a deposit from a debit card.



Deposits made by a debit card, are immediately available for trading. Withdrawals from the account are blocked for 7 days after the debit card deposit. Only the recent debit card deposit amount is blocked for 7 days. for example, if an account had $1,000 in their account and then deposited $100 via a debit card, only the $100 would be blocked from withdrawals.




Funding your account by wire

Step 1

Login to your account on the CoinZoom Exchange.

 

Step 2

Click on Portfolio on the Navigation bar.

Step 3

Click on the USD Deposit tab, then select Wire Deposit

 

Step 4

Send wire to Signature Bank and be sure to include the Reference number, which is your unique account identifier.


Note: CoinZoom does accept international wire transfers.





Are wire transfers or debit card deposits subjected to the holding period?

Wire deposits to your CoinZoom fiat wallet are not subject to a holding period. However, debit card deposits are subject to a holding period of 168 hours (7 days).






What is an available balance?

Your “Available Balance” is how much you can withdraw or send immediately. After depositing funds directly from your bank account (not including wire transfers or debit cards), you will be able to immediately buy digital assets using your Fiat wallet. However, deposited funds are placed under an initial hold before you can take them out of CoinZoom. You will not be able to withdraw these funds to your bank, or send digital assets you purchased using them, until your deposit has cleared from your bank.



How is my available balance calculated?

Your available balance is calculated as your total portfolio balance minus your pending funds.




How long does a purchase or deposit take to complete?

CoinZoom generally makes your funds available in your account as soon as payments clear. Since CoinZoom partners with various payment service providers in different geographic regions, the timing will vary according to your location and payment method used.

 

You can see the delivery time of your orders at any time by clicking on the specific order on your history page.




Fiat on CoinZoom

Users on CoinZoom can deposit, trade and withdraw fiat.




I'm trying to deposit money into my CoinZoom account using my debit card and it keeps telling me to complete my profile, which I already did.

In order to deposit funds to your account it has to have been approved and your KYC has to show as "Verified". In order to deposit funds from a debit card, the address associated with your debit card has to match the address on your profile. Also, there is a maximum of $500 per 24 hours that can be deposited from a debit card.
