There are several reasons a deposit using a debit or credit card may not go through. Review the items below to help identify and resolve the issue.

Credit cards are not supported
CoinZoom does not currently support deposits from credit cards. Only debit cards with a valid billing address can be used.

Account must be verified
Only verified accounts can deposit funds. Even if profile information has been submitted, the account may still be under review. To check the current status, go to the Account Status screen in the app or web platform. If the account is not yet verified, deposits will be blocked.

Address mismatch
The billing address on the debit card must match the address listed in the CoinZoom profile. If the addresses do not match, the transaction will be declined.

Daily deposit limit reached
There is a $500 maximum for debit card deposits within a 24-hour period. If the limit has been reached, wait 24 hours or use an alternative deposit method.

Profile may be incomplete or rejected
If the account does not show a "Verified" status, the profile may be incomplete or the verification may have been rejected.

Your Bank may be restricting deposits

Some banks place limits on transactions to cryptocurrency exchanges or financial apps like CoinZoom. If your debit card deposit is declined or blocked, your bank may need to approve the transaction. You can contact your bank and ask them to authorize deposits to CoinZoom under MCC 6051, and confirm whether any restrictions apply to that category. For example, when you contact your bank you can ask:

“I’m attempting a card deposit to CoinZoom, which uses MCC 6051. Please allow this transaction and future deposits.”
