You can use the CoinZoom App and the CoinZoom Pro to fund your CoinZoom Account with US Dollars and many top cryptocurrencies. Once funded, you can buy, sell, send and receive those same cryptocurrencies.

CoinZoom offers two separate apps for both Android and iOS: CoinZoom App and CoinZoom Pro. You can use either of the apps to fund your CoinZoom Account with US Dollars and many top cryptocurrencies. Both of these allow you to buy and sell cryptocurrency, but the Pro app is more robust.

The CoinZoom app is simpler and faster for placing orders, but is limited to market orders and you can only buy in whole dollar amounts. On the other hand, the Pro app lets you place Limit and Stop orders that have lower fees because they increase market liquidity

The Pro app has greater order history detail where you can see all the relevant data, including the requested and filled volumes, the type of order, requested price, filled price, and average price.

Trading Crypto

Both apps are connected to your CoinZoom account and each reflects the activity done in the other. The mobile app is streamlined for ease of use; the Pro app has additional tools to help you trade with greater confidence.

CoinZoom App

When trading crypto from the CoinZoom App, you can choose from a predefined dollar amount or manually enter the dollar amount you want to buy or sell.

CoinZoom Pro

When trading crypto from CoinZoom Pro, you enter the amount of crypto your want to trade. To determine the amount to enter, divide the dollar amount by the current buy price of that crypto. For example, if the current buy price for BTC is $45,000 and you want to purchase $100.00 USD worth of BTC: 100/45000 = 0.002222. Enter 0.002222 as the amount of BTC you want to buy.

Charting

The largest difference between the two is the Pro app has chart analysis studies for experienced traders. These studies show technical trend analysis that help experienced traders spot market opportunities, strengths and weaknesses. These studies tend to focus on support and resistance levels to identify the low and high prices that the currency has historically moved between. While it is impossible to accurately predict future prices, historical analysis is used to help reduce risks and increase the chances of gain.

Other types of analysis include

  • Trade volume, which helps identify trader sentiment
  • Relative strength, which compares one currency against another
  • Momentum indicators, which show strength of up or down movement.

Only the Pro app has charting tools.

CoinZoom App

The CoinZoom App has basic charting.

CoinZoom Pro

CoinZoom Pro has more than 100 technical indicators to choose from to help you determine your price.

CoinZoom Pro has a depth chart to help you see the current market. Depth charts allow traders to see current selling bids and buying offers and shows the spread between them.
