There are two ways to close your account, either by disabling it or closing it. Disabling is temporary and can be done yourself. Closing is permanent and requires CoinZoom to help you.

Disable Your Account

Disable your account for temporary reasons, such as when you know you will not be able to login for an extended time, but you want to gain access to it later. Your funds will remain in the account but all functions in your account will no longer work; nobody will be able to send crypto to this account and your debit card will be automatically disabled.

You may disable your account by going into Settings and selecting the Disable option. You will need to enter your OTP (from your two-factor authentication app, not the email). This will turn off your account and allow only you to re-enable it at some future point if you choose.

If you decide to use that account again later, you can sign in using the same email address and re-enable your account.

Disabling From the Desktop

Click Settings -> Settings -> Advanced Settings and choose Disable Account.

Enter the one-time password (OTP) when prompted and your account will be disabled.

Disabling From the Pro App

Tap the drop down menu in the upper left hand corner -> Settings -> Disable Account: View. From this screen you can Enable or Disable your account. Enter the one-time password when prompted and your account will be disabled.

Disabling in the Mobile App

Click Settings -> Account Settings -> Advanced Settings and choose Disable Account.

Enter the one-time password (OTP) when prompted and your account will be disabled.

Close Your Account

Closing your account must be done by CoinZoom and is permanent. You can request your account to be closed by emailing [email protected]

Once we have closed your account, it cannot be re-opened. If you want to use CoinZoom in the future, you must create a new account.

Warning: You must withdraw all your funds from your account before having it disabled.
