If you inherit or are responsible for a deceased family member’s CoinZoom account, this request requires assistance from our support team and will be handled by creating a support ticket to begin the transfer process. One of our analysts will guide you through each step to meet legal requirements.
Information Needed to Start
When you contact us, please provide:
Full name and email address of the deceased customer
Proof of relationship (marriage certificate, birth certificate, or notarized affidavit)
Certified copy of the death certificate
Government-issued ID of the requesting family member or legal representative
Notarized affidavit stating you are authorized to manage the deceased’s assets
If you do not have all of these documents, let us know so we can assist you.
Additional Documentation
Depending on your location, the deceased’s residence, and specific circumstances, we may require additional documents. Requests for these will be sent via email.
Support Throughout the Process
If you are unfamiliar with CoinZoom or digital currency, our support team is available to answer questions and help you through each step of the process.
Naming a Beneficiary
It is not currently possible to name a beneficiary directly within your CoinZoom account. Work with your estate planning attorney to designate beneficiaries in your will or other legal arrangements. In the event of your death, CoinZoom will follow its standard ownership transfer procedures as described above.
