Having trouble logging in with a one-time password (OTP) or 2FA code?

CoinZoom uses two different types of login codes depending on the stage of the account:

  • A one-time password (OTP) is emailed during account setup

  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) codes are generated by an app like Google Authenticator for ongoing logins

One-time password (OTP) not received

If the OTP email doesn't arrive during account setup:

  • Check your spam or junk folder

  • Confirm that the correct email address is linked to the CoinZoom account

  • Wait a few minutes and try resending the code

  • If still not been received, create a support ticket

2FA code not working

If your 2FA codes are not working, first check that the clocks on your devices are synced. If the time is out of sync, the code generated by your authenticator app may not work correctly.

If you lost access to your 2FA because you changed phones or reinstalled your authenticator app, you may need to reset it. Please see the instructions for resetting your 2FA code.

On Android:

  1. Open the Google Authenticator app

  2. Tap the three-dot menu icon

  3. Select Settings

  4. Tap Time correction for codes

  5. Tap Sync now

On iPhone:

  1. Open the phone’s Settings

  2. Tap General

  3. Tap Date & Time

  4. Enable Set Automatically

After syncing the time, open the app again and try logging in. If that doesn't resolve your 2FA issue, we recommend a 2FA Reset.

Still having trouble?

If issues continue with either OTP or 2FA, this request requires assistance from our support team and will be handled by creating a support ticket.
