The CoinZoom app has both Lite and Pro modes. The Lite mode streamlines crypto trading while the Pro mode gives you access to advanced trading capabilities. These modes affect only buying and selling crypto and make no difference for features such as deposits, withdrawals, or managing your card.

Main Differences

Lite mode is simpler and faster for placing orders, but is limited to Market Orders. Lite mode allows trading only in whole dollar amounts.

On the other hand, Pro trades often have lower trading fees because they allow non-market order types, which increase market liquidity. In addition, Pro mode gives greater control over execution prices with non-market order types and helps you to optimize your trades with charting tools and insight into all pending orders, volumes, and prices.

This chart outlines the major differences between the Lite mode and Pro mode.

Trading Crypto

Lite Mode

When trading crypto in Lite mode, you can manually enter the dollar amount for the crypto you want to trade. Or you can

  1. Tap the crypto name below the dollar amount in the middle of the screen to swap between dollars and crypto

  2. Choose predefined dollar amounts

1) Tap the crypto to toggle between it and USD. 2) The preset amount buttons are a convenient way to choose how much to trade.

Pro Mode

When trading crypto in Pro mode, you can trade in terms of the Crypto or in terms of USD. It defaults to trading in terms of the crypto, but you can tap USD to trade in terms of USD instead.

Enter the amount of the coin you want to trade (left) and refer to the dollar amount (right) to see the USD equivalent.

Charting

Lite Mode

The Lite mode has basic charting. Drag your finger on the chart to see the price for that time period. Choose a preset below the chart to see the chart in a different granularity (1 Minute, 1 Day, 1 Week, etc.)

Basic charting lets you see the price for the time period where you lay your finger on the chart.

Pro Mode

The chart bar in Pro mode allows you to

  1. Change the date granularity

  2. Show trading data where you hold your finger in the chart

  3. Swipe back and forth

  4. Choose technical indicators.

Tapping on the icons in the chart toolbar lets you choose different analysis options.

Pro mode has several chart analysis studies for experienced traders. These studies show technical trend analysis that helps experienced traders spot market opportunities, strengths, and weaknesses. These studies tend to focus on support and resistance levels to identify the low and high prices that the currency has historically moved between. While it is impossible to accurately predict future prices, historical analysis is used to help reduce risks and increase the chances of gain.

Tap the gear icon to see and select technical indicators.

Technical indicators include

  • Trade volume, which helps identify trader sentiment

  • Relative strength, which compares one currency against another

  • Momentum indicators, which show the strength of the up or down movement.

Only Pro mode has charting tools.

Order Book

Lite Mode

There is no order book in Lite mode.

Pro Mode

Pro mode gives you insight into the current market by letting you see the Order Book details.

  1. See the full list

  2. View sell and buy orders side-by-side

  3. See the latest trades

The Order Book lets you see the current market.
