CoinZoom Crypto Debit Card FAQ

There are five card levels that offer rewards ranging from 0.5% to 5%, based on your CoinZoom Prime level. For full details on each card, visit: CoinZoom Cards or CoinZoom Prime Rewards

In the CoinZoom App, select the wallet and currency you want to spend from. When you make a purchase, CoinZoom verifies you have sufficient funds, then instantly sells the selected crypto at the market rate to cover the transaction.

If your chosen wallet has insufficient funds, the transaction will fail. You can switch to another wallet with enough balance to complete the purchase.

Some purchases, such as restaurant transactions with tips, may take until the next day for the final charge to appear.

See Get a Physical CoinZoom Crypto Debit Card for more details. To order a CoinZoom Crypto Debit card, you must first Fund Your Account to have at least $10 in your account, including enough ZOOM tokens to pay for the shipping fee, plus at least some spendable currency*

To order:

Go to the Spend tab → Physical Card → Order.

*To see the virtual and physical cards at all, you must have some available spending currency in your wallet. Any coin besides Zoom qualifies as spend currency. Funds connected to a pending trade order are not available as spend currency.

Spend tab → Physical Card → Activate.

Have your physical card ready and enter the 3-digit CVV from the back. The default PIN is the last four digits of your registered phone number—change it immediately.

Your 4-digit PIN is required for most international purchases.

If your PIN doesn’t work:

The card is only for spending in USD. Visa handles foreign currency conversion. See rates here: Visa Exchange Rate Calculator.

Some merchants (e.g., gas stations, hotels, rental car agencies) may place a temporary hold for more than the actual purchase amount. Once the merchant finalizes the charge, the unused portion is released—typically by the next day.

Report lost or stolen cards immediately. Users are protected under the Visa Zero Liability Policy for unauthorized transactions made without a PIN.

You can withdraw cash at most ATMs that accept Visa, using your PIN and available balance. See this article for limits.

Only one active physical card and one virtual card per account.

The virtual card is free. The physical card is free to order (shipping costs may apply). There is a Crypto-to-USD conversion fee of 1.49% when spending in crypto. There is also a $0.50 fee for each insufficient funds rejection transaction after 6 in a month. These appear as a spend_tx ledger entry.

Your virtual card number is masked by default. Tap “Reveal” in the app to view it. After activating a physical card, it can also be revealed in the app. See this article for more information.

There is no need to notify CoinZoom before traveling. Your card is ready for use abroad. CoinZoom offers several security features, including instant card freeze. You can manage these features in the app, which helps secure your card while abroad.
