At CoinZoom, we prioritize the security of our valued customers. To maintain a secure and compliant exchange, all users must be verified prior to engaging in cryptocurrency trading.
The verification process requires personal information, a photo ID, and a selfie. You can only complete this process using the CoinZoom mobile app, which is available for download on the Apple Store or Google Play.
Verify Your Email
During the account setup, we'll send you a verification email. Click "Verify Your Email Address" to sign in and fill out your profile information.
We recommend finishing your profile on the app because the final steps must be done there.
Verify Your Phone Number
Choose your country and enter your phone number. We'll send you a 6-digit code by text to your phone. Enter the code to verify your phone.
Your phone number can only be used for one account. If it's already registered on another account, you'll receive an error. In that case, contact us with proof that you own the number, such as a phone bill with your name, address, and the phone number on it.
Enter Your Profile Information
Finish filling out all the profile information in the app. This will be verified against your personal information. Mistakes can cause the verification to fail, and you only have three attempts to get it right.
The ZoomMe handle is your screen name you when others send funds to you. You can send crypto or USD for free using ZoomMe.
Verify Your Identity
Submit Photo ID
Choose to submit a passport, driver's license, or government ID card. Choose the option that represent the ID you want to submit. Then tap the screen to take the image when you have your ID ready. Hold the document close enough to take a clear picture and follow the on-screen instructions. When it is within range, hold it still for a 3 second countdown on a yellow overlay.
Submit Selfie
The last thing to submit is a photo of yourself. Hold the camera even with your eyes and adjust it according to the directions on the screen. Blink when the camera is in position to snap the picture. Your selfie and photo ID must match.
Verification Process
Many customers are validated within an hour, but others may take up to two business days. Go to More -> Personal Details to view the verification status of your account.
Re-submissions
If you need to re-submit your photo ID and selfie, you'll receive a message asking you to reverify the documents. You only have three attempts to complete this process, so make sure everything is correct before continuing.
Once the verification process is completed, you'll receive an email confirming your account status. Congratulations, you're now ready to fund your CoinZoom account and trade cryptocurrency!
