What is a Minimum Sell Limit?

A minimum sell limit is the smallest quantity of a cryptocurrency that can be placed for sale on the exchange. This amount is expressed in the cryptocurrency’s native units (for example, BTC, ETH, XRP), not in USD. Orders below this amount will not be accepted by the trading system.

Important Notes

  • These minimums are quantities of the coin, not USD amounts. The effective minimum a customer sees may be the higher of the network-level minimum and CoinZoom’s platform minimum.

  • Network-level constraints (for example, dust policies or ledger reserves) can make very small transfers impractical even if an order is accepted.

  • Minimums can change; always check the trade or withdrawal screen immediately before placing an order.

How to Check the Exact Minimum Before Placing an Order

  1. Open the Sell or Trade screen in the app and start a sell order. The interface will display the minimum allowed for the market/pair.

  2. Check the Withdrawal page for per-asset withdrawal minimums (withdrawal minimums can differ from trading minimums).

  3. For additional assistance, contact CoinZoom Support by creating a support ticket.
