CoinZoom is committed to keeping your account secure. One of the most important tools we use is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), which adds an extra layer of protection every time you sign in.
To access your account, you’ll need to pass two levels of authentication:
- Your email address and password
- A second form of verification—either through biometric recognition or an authenticator app
Security Reminder :
Never share your CoinZoom password or authenticator security key with anyone. This violates our Terms of Use and puts your account at risk. Be very careful how and where you store your recovery or setup key for any authenticator app—it should never be shared or stored in an insecure place such as plane text or email.
Using the CoinZoom Mobile App (iOS / Android)
When accessing CoinZoom through our mobile app, 2FA is built in and works seamlessly:
Tip: You can update your preferred method under Settings > Security > 2FA Options in the app
.
Using the CoinZoom Web App (Desktop / Laptop)
When signing in from a desktop or laptop:
- A push notification is sent to your linked mobile device.
- Approve the notification on your phone to complete the sign-in.
Note: You must already be signed in to the CoinZoom mobile app to receive push notifications for web logins.
>Alternatively, you can use an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator to complete the login. (on my iPhone the push notification comes through even if I'm not signed into the coinzoom app)
