Your account status (full or limited) is based on the validation level you have completed. US regulations require us to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) practices in order to allow customers to trade cryptocurrency. When you have completed KYC, your account will be fully verified and you will have full access to trading, spending, and sending cryptocurrency.
If you have a limited account, you can mint digital collectibles but not buy or sell cryptocurrency.
Follow the instructions below to see if you have a limited account and can upgrade to the full account.
Go to Settings > Profile > Register. If you have a limited account, you will see a QR code to complete your full signup on the mobile app.
In the Pro app, go into Settings > Profile Information > Account Status. If the screen looks similar to the following, you do not have a full account and must go through the verification process to upgrade, otherwise it will say that you are verified.
Click the Gear icon in the mobile app to go to settings. The option to complete your profile setup indicates you do not have a full account and you can upgrade.
